Priscilla finished second at the 2008 Region 14 Cross Country Championships

Congratulations again to Priscilla and Mikeala for qualifying for the 2008 Region 14 Cross Country Championships. The girls competed among 35 other Bantam girls. Coach Blanca said, "We began focusing by walking the trail and strategizing how to run this race. The girls were nervous, but i can tell they were excited too. The race took a while to start, but was finished in a blink of an eye. In the end, the girls used everything they had to finish the race, like the winners they are."

Priscilla's second place time was 12:43. Next stop, the 2008 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Mechanicsville, Virgina, on December 13, 2008.
